Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is looking for a RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join our team. This is a 100% remote position where you will serve as a team member or leader conducting on-site surveys for Medicare-Medicaid certified healthcare facilities across the country to assess compliance with Federal regulations.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a team member or team leader on surveys for long-term care and non-long-term care facilities, including recertification, comparative, complaint investigation, and revisit surveys.
  • Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
  • Perform survey preparations including off-site preparation, facility tours, observation of care, record review, and interviews of staff and families.
  • Determine if care, treatment, and services are consistent with Federal requirements.
  • Evaluate aspects of the healthcare facility system from quality of care to consumers’ rights and physical plant.
  • Communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel throughout the site review and during the exit conference.
  • Determine if a plan of correction is acceptable.
  • Conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ascertain implementation of correction plans.
  • Assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
  • Successful completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and a passed Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
  • At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying facilities that serve residents of long-term care facilities.
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and effectively manage the survey process.
  • Ability to set priorities independently and collectively in performing survey tasks.
  • Ability to openly discuss conflicts/controversy, and to seek assistance when appropriate to make decisions and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.

Work Mode
