Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is hiring an RN Health Care Facility Surveyor to join a quality improvement consulting company. In this remote role, you will travel extensively to conduct on-site assessments of healthcare facilities nationwide, ensuring compliance with federal standards.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a team member or team leader on various surveys, including re-certification, complaint investigation, and revisits for long-term and non-long-term care facilities.
- Conduct on-site surveys of Medicare-Medicaid certified health care facilities to determine compliance with Federal regulations.
- Perform survey preparations, including off-site analysis, facility tours, observation of care, record reviews, and interviews with staff and families.
- Evaluate a wide range of facility aspects, from quality of care and consumers’ rights to the physical plant.
- Communicate non-compliance issues throughout the site review and during exit conferences.
- Determine if a facility's plan of correction is acceptable.
- Conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to verify implementation of correction plans.
- Assist with facility and bureau training and participate in work groups as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Successful completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training and a passing score on the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT).
- At least two (2) years of recent experience working as a surveyor accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities.
- Current, unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Demonstrated history of independent decision-making skills to direct and manage the survey process effectively.
- Ability to set priorities independently and collectively when performing survey tasks.
- Ability to openly discuss conflicts and seek assistance when appropriate to resolve them.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time on a regular basis.

Work Mode
