AdventHealth is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for its Emergency Department in Burleson, Texas. This part-time position works a 9am to 3pm schedule, responsible for delivering comprehensive clinical care in an acute hospital setting. What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and patient needs.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care by facilitating collaboration among physicians, nurses, social workers, and therapists.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on patient responses and outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure everyone is informed and involved.
What We're Looking For
- Associate's of Nursing
- Registered Nurse (RN) license
- TNCC or ENCP certification at the time of hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
- 1+ year 12 lead EKG experience
- Skills required to work in the emergency department as defined by the unit
- Demonstrated proficiency in acute-care nursing, knowledge, and skills
- Ability to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patients, evaluate interventions, and revise care plans
- Basic computer skills – must be able to navigate Microsoft Windows-based programs

- Bachelor's of Nursing
- 1+ year acute hospital experience
