AdventHealth is looking for a RN Cardiovascular nurse to join our team. In this patient-centered role, you will deliver specialized cardiovascular care using established principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. What You'll Do

Deliver patient-centered nursing care using principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.
Establish a compassionate environment by providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
Provide quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice and measuring health outcomes against patient-centered goals.
Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes.
Commit to hourly patient rounding.
Document and report all procedures in accordance with department policies.
Assist in training new employees and enhancing patient flow through areas.
Provide quality patient care and prioritize multiple duties continuously.
Function calmly and professionally in stressful situations.
Utilize assessment, reassessment, and critical-thinking skills in dealing with changes in patient outcomes.
Maintain effective working relationships with health professionals and others.
Communicate effectively (verbal and written) to direct overall professional nursing services.

What We're Looking For

Associate's of Nursing
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)

Nice to Have

Bachelor's of Nursing
Basic computer skills, with experience in Windows operating system
Understanding of hemodynamic monitoring and EKG rhythm recognition, with competency in EKG interpretation
Recent acute care experience and knowledge of critical care medication
Previous experience with Cerner Electronic Medical Record
2+ years acute care experience
