Corewell Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry Unit. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care on a 38-bed Cardiovascular unit specializing in Heart Failure, cardiac dysrhythmias, pacemakers/defibrillators, LVAD readmits, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiac conditions requiring medical treatment. You will utilize the nursing process framework and patient-family centered care principles to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients under continuous telemetry monitoring.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care incorporating patient-family centered care principles
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patients utilizing the nursing process framework
- Partner with and utilize patient/family input and goals in care planning
- Develop teaching strategies for patients/families and document education appropriately in the health record
- Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
- Associates in Nursing
- Bachelors in Nursing (required within 5 years)
- MI Registered Nurse (RN) License
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required within 90 days)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (required within 6 months)
Team & Environment
Provides care on 6 North (Progressive Care Unit Cardiac 6N), a 38-bed Cardiovascular unit. You will report to the Nurse Leader.

This position is onsite at SITE - Butterworth Hospital - 100 Michigan St NE - Grand Rapids.
