Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is hiring a Risk and Compliance Director to shape and oversee a comprehensive risk and compliance program for a key account. You will be responsible for controlling a range of risks, from financial and legal to reputational, while supporting audits and leading a team.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and lead the account's risk management strategy, implementing core components of the Work Dynamics Risk Management program.
- Manage essential programs including the risk register, internal audit program, and compliance program.
- Review and understand the Master Service Agreement (MSA) with the client, conduct gap analyses on material obligations, and manage the MSA change control process.
- Conduct annual risk assessments for the account, determine risk treatment, and review processes, procedures, and controls for integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Identify potential risk areas and analyze, evaluate, and recommend changes to existing practices, processes, and controls.
- Chair the account's risk governance routine or present the risk agenda in existing account leadership meetings.
- Escalate emerging risks, high-severity risks, or incident trends to the Work Dynamics risk governance body.
- Support external audits by managing the audit process, providing evidence, and addressing results.
- Assist in developing audit programs and maintain up-to-date knowledge of audit tools and techniques.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, well-written audit reports summarizing observations, error trends, risk, and recommendations for operations leadership.
- Engage with the JLL Ethics Everywhere program and escalate all ethical questions, concerns, and violations.
- Provide regular communications to the full account team on risk topics, including information security best practices and risk identification.
- Attend staff meetings, town halls, and leadership meetings to present on risk topics or answer related questions.
- Assist in the account's incident management process, including prompt escalation of sensitive and high-severity incidents to the client and leadership.
- Manage a diverse team of professionals.
- Manage the Health & Safety team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of three years of risk and compliance experience.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Advanced Excel skills, including creating reports from Excel data.
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively at all levels, from executive management to field personnel.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the legal or commercial real estate industries is a plus.

- Compensation: $170,000.00 – $185,000.00 USD per year.
