Role Overview

This entry-level Risk Analyst position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with 1–2 years of experience in insurance. You’ll work closely with Account Executives and Client Managers to support Property and Casualty clients, manage renewals, and strengthen relationships with both clients and carriers. Participation in the Career Foundations Program provides structured learning to build technical expertise and practical know-how for long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to client inquiries and maintain accurate records of communications, ongoing issues, and resolutions
  • Support the onboarding of new coverage lines by setting up accounts, collecting documentation, and coordinating plan details with clients and carriers
  • Collect and organize exposure data, including loss runs and client stratifications
  • Obtain and compare quotes from insurance carriers
  • Manage audits, binders, endorsements, and policy changes as needed
  • Verify policy accuracy and completeness, ensuring timely updates
  • Update client applications, summaries, and specifications throughout the policy term
  • Notify clients of changes impacting coverage or premiums
  • Prepare compliance-related communications and client engagement materials such as renewal strategies and presentations
  • Collaborate with Technical Services to issue certificates, invoices, and auto ID cards
  • Assist in resolving billing and accounting discrepancies

Qualifications

Applicants must demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines consistently. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are essential, along with a commitment to confidentiality and company policies. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.

Work Environment

This hybrid role allows flexibility between remote and in-office work across locations including Washington DC, Philadelphia, New York City, Hartford, Norwalk, Boston, and Portland, ME. Occasional after-hours work or travel may be necessary.
