Lockton Northeast is hiring a Risk Analyst to be the primary service contact for an assigned book of Property and Casualty business. This entry-level position is designed for a recent graduate or a professional with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and is part of our Career Foundations Program, providing technical and practical training for a long-term career.
What You'll Do
- Respond to client inquiries and maintain detailed documentation of communications and resolutions.
- Implement new lines of coverage by setting up accounts, collecting documentation, and reviewing plan details.
- Gather and compile client exposure information, including loss runs and stratifications.
- Request and secure quotes from insurance carriers.
- Handle audits, binders, endorsements, and requests for policy changes.
- Follow up for issued policies and complete policy checks to ensure accuracy.
- Update specifications and summaries to reflect coverage changes throughout the year.
- Inform clients of any changes affecting their premiums or coverage.
- Create and send compliance communications as required.
- Prepare client engagement documents such as renewal strategies and presentations.
- Work with Transactional Service Advisors to issue invoices, certificates of insurance, and auto ID cards.
- Resolve accounting issues related to client accounts.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor's degree in a business-related field is preferred, or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Ability to efficiently organize work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to comply with all company policies, proactively protecting confidential information.
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours and travel as needed.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
