ClickHouse is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and evolve the global revenue accounting function as we scale. You will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of revenue reporting for public-company readiness, working cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Operations to build scalable processes and clarify complex revenue arrangements in our dynamic, global SaaS environment.
What You'll Do
- Own and manage all aspects of revenue accounting, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606) and alignment with company policies.
- Lead the month-end and quarter-end revenue close process, including contract review, revenue recognition, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Partner closely with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to review contracts and ensure proper revenue treatment for complex arrangements.
- Maintain and continuously enhance revenue recognition policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a scalable, pre-IPO–ready environment.
- Oversee deferred revenue and accounts receivable reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of balance sheet and P&L results.
- Collaborate with FP&A and Sales Operations to provide accurate and timely revenue forecasts and analyses.
- Drive system and process improvements, including automation initiatives and ERP integrations to streamline revenue workflows.
- Support external audit requirements and manage PBC requests related to revenue and receivables.
- Provide technical accounting guidance for new revenue streams, pricing models, and business initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- 6–9 years of progressive accounting experience
- 2+ years focused on revenue accounting in a SaaS or technology company
- CPA required
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition standards
- Proven track record managing the revenue close process in a global, high-growth environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex contracts and data sets
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with focus on accuracy and completeness
- Effective communicator with ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present financial insights clearly
- Experience in designing and maintaining internal controls and documentation to support audit readiness and SOX compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Nice to Have
- Big Four public accounting experience strongly preferred
- Master’s degree a plus
