Best Buy Canada Ltd. is hiring a Retail Store Manager

About the Role

The Retail Store Manager (also referred to as Store Leader) at Best Buy Canada Ltd. oversees all aspects of store operations, leads a large team of retail associates, and drives sales performance while fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment. This role is critical in shaping customer experience and team development within a high-volume retail environment.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee all aspects of the store, including leading assistant store leaders, team leads, and advisors
  • Partner with all areas of the business and vendors
  • Motivate, coach, develop, and inspire the team to help customers find the perfect product or service
  • Cultivate an inclusive team and learning culture while having fun
  • Oversee store KPIs (revenue, merchandising standards, inventory health, health and safety)
  • Maintain a healthy profit and loss

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience as a retail store manager with a retail team of at least 30+ associates
  • 5+ years of experience managing and reviewing operational expenses and revenue
  • Experience in a $20+ million volume store
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals in a high-sales volume store
  • Ability to create an inclusive, fun and safe work environment
  • Must be permanently based at the Kingston or Belleville store
  • Ability to commute to the Kingston or Belleville location is required
