About the Role
The Reservations Specialist is responsible for managing booking requests, processing reservation changes, and delivering accurate information to clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities
- Process new reservation requests accurately and efficiently
- Respond to client inquiries via email and phone
- Update and maintain reservation records in the booking system
- Coordinate with vendors and partners to confirm availability
- Handle modifications and cancellations following established policies
- Provide clients with detailed itinerary information
- Resolve booking discrepancies promptly
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and timelines
- Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments
- Maintain confidentiality of customer data
- Track and report reservation metrics
- Assist with testing updates to reservation software
- Follow up on pending bookings to ensure completion
- Support team members during peak booking periods
- Adhere to service level agreements for response times
