About the Role

The position involves designing and conducting experiments, managing datasets, and contributing to scholarly outputs. The specialist will collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure research goals are met efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments according to established protocols
  • Collect, process, and analyze complex datasets
  • Maintain accurate records of research activities and results
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to laboratory equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Assist in preparing manuscripts for publication
  • Present findings at internal meetings and academic forums
  • Collaborate with team members on interdisciplinary projects
  • Manage timelines for research deliverables
  • Support grant reporting and documentation requirements
  • Optimize laboratory workflows for efficiency
  • Train new staff and students on procedures
  • Participate in literature reviews and background research
  • Contribute to development of new research methodologies
  • Monitor project progress and report outcomes
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of instruments
  • Assist in writing research proposals
  • Perform statistical analysis using appropriate software
  • Adhere to ethical guidelines in research conduct
  • Coordinate with external partners when necessary
  • Document standard operating procedures
  • Support quality assurance and control processes
  • Engage in continuous improvement of research practices
  • Respond to feedback from principal investigators

Compensation

Salary commensurate with experience; full benefits package included

Work Arrangement

On-site position with limited remote flexibility based on project needs
