Mass General Brigham is hiring a Research Scientist to join the Center for School Behavioral Health (CSBH). In this interdisciplinary role, you will fulfill the computational and data integrity needs of the center, lead the programming team, and conduct analyses to support research and program evaluation.
What You'll Do
- Fulfill the computational and data integrity needs of the center.
- Lead the programming team.
- Conduct data processing and statistical analyses to support research and program evaluation.
- Program and manage analytic workflows.
- Instruct and supervise post-doctoral fellows, programmers, and clinical research coordinators in psychometrics and quantitative methods.
- Prioritize multiple tasks with fluctuating deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Ph.D. in biostatistics, cognitive science, neuroscience, bioinformatics, data science, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of, and commitment to, upholding the protections and federal regulations surrounding human subject research.
- Strong computer and programming skills with scripting language experience (e.g., R, Python, MATLAB).
- Experience with clinical research and upholding human subjects research federal regulations.
- Excellent organizational skill.
- Interest in the work of the Center for School Behavioral Health and an interest in working with human subjects on a diverse team.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with a wide variety of software tools for data collection and analysis such as: R, shell scripting, git/GitHub/GitLab, MATLAB, Python, PsychoPy, FSL, FreeSurfer, and HTML/CSS/web design.

Team & Environment
