Santander is hiring a Representative, Dealer Operations and Collections(100% Remote)

About the Role

Santander is looking for a Dealer Operations and Collections Representative to manage inbound and outbound communications with dealers. You will play a key role in resolving receivable balances, billing discrepancies, and service inquiries while ensuring compliance and providing exceptional support to dealer partners.

What You'll Do

  • Execute inbound and outbound communications with dealers via phone, mail, or email regarding statements, payments, cancellations, claims, and inquiries.
  • Support dealer partners with customized solutions, including negotiating settlements and payment plans.
  • Provide exceptional service while handling complaints, inquiries, and requests through email, phone, and chat.
  • Effectively manage difficult dealer conversations using conflict resolution techniques.
  • Properly escalate complaints and issues from dealers and internal partners.
  • Analyze data and partner with administrators to ensure customer deficiency balances and refunds are properly collected and distributed.
  • Build relationships with dealerships and work closely with sales to support new business.
  • Work cohesively with Payment Services, Sales Partners, Dealer Management, Titles, and other Santander teams to provide best-in-class service.
  • Perform tasks related to SC receivables, including analyzing reports, data entry or correction, and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Properly document all communication activity within the system of record.
  • Perform required functional processes in a timely manner, ensuring deadlines are met.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, or an equivalent field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in the Auto Finance field.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Auto Dealer Services.
  • Previous experience in Collections, a Call Center, or at an Auto Dealership.
  • Proficiency in basic PC applications, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Intermediate to advanced typing and data entry processing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to educate customers on service or product solutions.
  • Ability to respond promptly to internal and external requests.
  • Ability to adhere to policies, procedures, and management instructions.
  • Demonstrated ability to cope with ambiguous and changing environments and remain calm under pressure.
  • Takes initiative to present problems, concerns, questions, and ideas.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and individually to achieve deadlines.

  • Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.

Team & Environment

You will work cohesively with Payment Services, Sales Partners, Dealer Management, Titles, and other Santander teams.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation range: $36,000.00 USD - $56,000.00 USD.

This is a 100% remote position open to candidates in the United States.
