Lead the electrical engineering aspects of wastewater and stormwater lift station projects in a fully remote role. You will be responsible for defining system requirements through collaboration with civil engineers, municipal stakeholders, and equipment suppliers. Guide and review the output of a drafting team, ensuring designs meet technical standards and project goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with engineering teams and city representatives to establish project scope and technical needs
- Supervise drafting personnel, providing direction and revisions as needed
- Partner with licensed Professional Engineers to finalize and approve electrical plans
- Track project timelines, report progress to clients, and maintain schedule adherence
- Evaluate contractor submittals during bidding and construction phases
- Optionally support the development of treatment plant design capabilities and help refine CAD standards and drafting workflows
Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in electrical systems design for lift stations and the ability to manage small teams. Leadership in project execution and design review is essential. Preferred candidates will bring experience in expanding design services into wastewater treatment facilities and have a background in standardizing CAD templates and drafting practices.
