Infatica.io is hiring a Remote Tech Lead Engineer to lead the technical development of our high-load web scraping platform. You will build the platform from scratch, driving architectural decisions and shaping the future of our scraping infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Design architecture for data-plane (high-parallel crawler, session management, anti-bot bypass, CAPTCHA solver), control-plane (API, authorization, billing, quotas, monitoring), and infrastructure (microservices, Docker/K8s, CI/CD, observability).
- Lead development: participate in hiring backend, browser, DevOps, and QA engineers, establish development and release processes, and oversee code quality and technical decisions.
- Conduct anti-bot research and bypass: handle browser and network-level fingerprinting (JA3, TLS, CDP) and bypass protections like Cloudflare, Akamai, Qrator, ServicePipe, and Variti.
- Manage DevOps/SRE: set up CI/CD, Helm charts, scaling configuration, and organize monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki) and SLA processes.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of engineering experience in high-load backend or data platforms.
- Excellent understanding of HTTP, TLS, HTTP/2, proxies, and browser stack (CDP, WebRTC).
- Experience with async Python and Go (ideally both), Redis, queues, and message brokers.
- Advanced level with DevOps tools: Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus, and CI/CD.
- Fluent English for documentation and team communication.
- Decision-making skills, mentoring abilities, and accountability for results.

- Experience analyzing and bypassing bot protection systems.
