Philips is hiring a Remote Service Engineer - MRI (Remote-Based, USA)

About the Role

At Philips, we believe we are better together than apart. We are looking for a Remote Service Engineer - MRI to leverage your technical and networking skills to assist healthcare customers. In this remote-based role within the USA, you will act as a key customer-facing representative, using the latest remote access technologies to support Philips MR products.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a Philips Representative in response to customer inquiries, providing telephone and remote technical support.
  • Resolve customer service events by leveraging Philips tools and resources.
  • Timely escalate customer product issues for evaluation by higher-level support.
  • Utilize appropriate remote tools to resolve issues and avoid dispatching a Field Service Engineer.
  • Implement best practices and process improvements while diagnosing problems, applying effective solutions, and determining follow-up actions.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging, preferably in a field service environment.
  • Experience with Philips MRI equipment.
  • Knowledge of computers and networking.
  • PC competency, including utilization of the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • High School graduate degree.
  • Ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive, and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
  • Ability to communicate, written and verbally, with various levels of employees and customers.
  • US work authorization.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, medical, or a science-related field.
  • Trained in Philips products.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Hourly pay ranges from $37.00-$70.00 depending on location, plus overtime eligibility and 1st/2nd shift pay differential.
