EX Squared is hiring a Remote Senior Architect to define and lead the technical vision for our global engineering initiatives. You'll create scalable architectures and provide technical leadership to distributed teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and document system architectures for complex, distributed applications
- Lead technical decision-making and architectural reviews across engineering teams
- Establish patterns, standards, and best practices for software development
- Mentor engineers and provide guidance on architectural principles and trade-offs
- Collaborate with product and engineering leads to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Evaluate new technologies and tools to improve system performance and reliability
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of software development experience with progressive architectural responsibility
- Proven experience designing, documenting, and implementing large-scale distributed systems
- Deep expertise in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and architectural patterns
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience conducting architecture reviews and establishing technical governance
- Ability to balance business needs, technical constraints, and long-term maintainability
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Brazil. You'll collaborate with a global team using asynchronous communication and modern collaboration tools.
