GeeksOnSite is hiring a Remote Recruiter to lead the full-cycle recruitment of U.S.-based 1099 on-call contractors. In this high-volume role, you will be instrumental in building our team of technical talent, focusing on proactive sourcing and a streamlined hiring process to meet aggressive weekly goals.
What You'll Do
- Own the end-to-end recruitment process for U.S.-based roles.
- Proactively source candidates using platforms like Workable, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other job boards.
- Post job ads, screen applicants, and schedule interviews.
- Keep the Workable ATS meticulously updated and organized daily.
- Maintain robust candidate pipelines and track key recruitment metrics.
- Target hiring 10 on-call techs per week.
- Provide a positive, timely, and professional candidate experience.
- Suggest improvements to job advertisements, interview questions, or sourcing strategies.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of recruiting experience with U.S.-based roles.
- Proven experience hiring 1099 contractors in the U.S. market.
- Comfortable conducting phone screenings, aiming for at least 12 value calls per day.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Sheets, Docs).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Highly proactive, resourceful, and a self-starter.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- English proficiency at a C1-C2 level.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with the Workable applicant tracking system.
