Work as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in a fully remote telepsychiatry setting, providing outpatient care to patients with lower to moderate acuity needs. What You'll Do
- Deliver psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment entirely through virtual visits
- Create individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy interventions
- Provide patient education and therapeutic support in a structured outpatient environment
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and therapists to ensure coordinated, team-based care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records
- Manage a stable patient panel aligned with your clinical preferences and availability
- Operate within a remote-first model with no on-call, inpatient, or crisis responsibilities
Requirements
- Current board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Unrestricted license in Texas with full practice authority
- At least four years of post-graduate clinical experience in psychiatric care
- Proven experience in outpatient mental health settings
- Strong skills in diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and medication management
- Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic medical records
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative clinical team
