Talkiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a fully remote, outpatient virtual psychiatry role in Oregon. The position offers clinical autonomy, predictable W-2 compensation, and full operational support within a collaborative, team-based care model focused on lower to moderate acuity mental health conditions.
What You'll Do
- Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
- Treat lower to moderate acuity populations such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD
- Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up sessions
- Avoid inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage
- Collaborate within an integrated care model with in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists
- Utilize clinical autonomy in scheduling, session structure, and patient population management
- Engage in clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase patient volume
- Document care accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- Active, unrestricted license with autonomous practice authority
- Minimum of 4 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Develop treatment planning and provide medication management
- Deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
- Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and collaborative, team-based approach
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous clinical development
