Talkiatry is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a fully remote, outpatient telepsychiatry role serving patients in California. The role offers clinical autonomy, predictable W-2 employment, and full operational support, allowing clinicians to focus on patient care without administrative burdens.
What You'll Do
- Provide 100% remote, outpatient psychiatric care
- Treat lower to moderate acuity populations including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and PTSD
- Conduct 60-minute intake sessions and 30-minute follow-up sessions
- Avoid inpatient, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization, or crisis coverage
- Collaborate within an integrated care model with in-house referral network to psychiatrists and therapists
- Utilize full operational support for scheduling, billing, intake coordination, and licensing
- Maintain control over schedule and weekly availability
- Determine session structure within established clinical standards
- Participate in balanced patient population assignments based on individual criteria and preferences
- Exercise clinical decision-making without pressure to shorten visits or increase volume
What We're Looking For
- Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- 103 or 104 NP (CA specific)
- Active, unrestricted Florida license with autonomous practice authority
- Minimum of 4 years post-graduate clinical experience as a PMHNP
- Experience delivering outpatient psychiatric care
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations
- Develop treatment planning and provide medication management
- Deliver psychoeducation and supportive therapy
- Comfort practicing in a fully remote, telepsychiatry-based model
- Proficiency using electronic medical records to document care accurately and efficiently
- Strong clinical judgment

Compensation includes a total annual on-target earnings range of $180k–$215k+ (base salary + monthly productivity), with an incentive guarantee during the initial onboarding ramp-up period.
