About the Role
The role involves creating precise plumbing system designs and technical drawings for residential and commercial projects, supporting construction teams with accurate documentation and revisions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Produce detailed plumbing layouts and schematics using CAD tools
- Interpret architectural and engineering plans to inform design decisions
- Ensure all designs comply with local plumbing codes and regulations
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers during design phases
- Revise drawings based on feedback and project changes
- Support construction teams with design clarifications
- Maintain accurate records of design versions and updates
- Coordinate with other disciplines to integrate plumbing systems
- Develop isometric drawings for complex piping configurations
- Assist in estimating materials and labor for plumbing installations
- Review project specifications to align designs with requirements
- Generate plumbing fixture schedules and system specifications
- Participate in design review meetings
- Ensure designs support efficient water flow and system performance
- Adhere to project timelines and deliverables
