About the Role
This position involves delivering occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed therapist, focusing on client progress, documentation, and family collaboration in a virtual environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver occupational therapy sessions remotely using secure video platforms
- Support clients in achieving individualized therapy goals
- Implement treatment plans designed by supervising therapists
- Monitor and document client progress consistently
- Communicate effectively with clients and caregivers in Spanish
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Assist in modifying activities to meet client needs
- Collaborate with therapy teams to ensure continuity of care
- Provide feedback to supervising therapists on client performance
- Adapt interventions based on client response and goals
- Engage clients across various age groups including pediatric and adult populations
- Conduct virtual home assessments when applicable
- Support development of fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Participate in team meetings and case reviews
- Follow ethical and professional standards in telehealth practice
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Use digital tools for scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Respond to client and family inquiries promptly
- Maintain licensure and certification requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
