About the Role
This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities with original equipment manufacturers and engineering firms that utilize fluid power systems. The candidate will engage technical buyers, present integrated solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales leads within the mobile fluid power industry
- Conduct in-person meetings with engineering and procurement decision-makers
- Present customized fluid power solutions to meet client technical requirements
- Manage end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to contract closure
- Coordinate with technical support teams to ensure accurate solution design
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications and industry trends
- Travel regularly to customer locations across assigned region
- Develop long-term relationships with key OEM accounts
- Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients
- Track sales activities and forecast revenue using CRM tools
- Collaborate with internal engineering resources for system integration
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding product capabilities
- Attend industry trade shows and technical conferences
- Support after-sales service coordination when needed
- Monitor competitor offerings and market positioning
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and procedures
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on market input
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales progress
- Promote value-added services alongside core product offerings
