U-Haul is looking for an IT Manager I to lead a team of developers and architects in delivering high-quality software solutions. You will guide the development of full-stack applications across multiple technology stacks within an Agile framework.
What You'll Do
- Oversee full-stack application development using Java, .NET, PL/SQL, and T-SQL
- Review and guide solution architecture, technical design, and code for performance, scalability, and security
- Manage project delivery using Agile/Scrum, ensuring timely releases aligned with business goals
- Implement and maintain DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment automation
- Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of applications on AWS Cloud using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch
- Ensure application reliability, performance, and cost efficiency in cloud environments
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, business analysts, and other teams to define priorities
- Champion process automation, performance improvements, and modernization initiatives
- Contribute to enterprise architecture discussions and technology roadmaps
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience managing cross-functional software development teams
- Strong hands-on experience in Java, .NET Core, REST APIs, PL/SQL, and T-SQL
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud architecture and deployment models
- Experience implementing Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Git and issue tracking tools like Jira and Confluence
- AWS certification or equivalent cloud experience
Nice to Have
- Exposure to microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and performance optimization
