IntellaTriage is looking for a Remote Hospice Triage RN to join our team. You will provide critical after-hours telephone triage for hospice patients and families, becoming an essential extension of our clients' care teams. In this role, you'll assess patient conditions, determine appropriate next steps, and collaborate with on-call teams to coordinate care and resources.
What You'll Do
- Provide telephone triage support for hospice patients and their families.

- Accurately document all communications and clinical interventions.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling urgent calls.
What We're Looking For
- An active, multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Comfort with technology and the electronic medical records (EMR) used for documentation.
- Ability to type documentation and notes efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Capacity to handle stress and multitask while receiving a high volume of calls (minimum of 5 per hour on weekdays, up to 8 per hour on weekends).
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts is required.
Nice to Have
- Hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care experience is strongly preferred.
Technical Stack
- Electronic medical records (EMR) for call documentation.

You will become an extension of our clients' care teams, providing critical support when they need it most.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay at $25 per hour.
- Multiple opportunities to increase your hourly rate, with the potential to earn up to $28 per hour within your first 6 months.
- $1 shift differential for overnight hours.
- $1 shift differential for weekends (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday).
- Part-time and full-time nurses accumulate PTO based on hours worked per year.
- Part-time and full-time nurses are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan.
- Full-time nurses may also participate in medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance plans.
- 3 weeks of paid remote training.

Work Mode
This is a fully remote part-time position. Scheduled shifts are 3:30pm-11:00pm CST, including rotating Saturday and Sunday shifts during the same hours.
