IntellaTriage is looking for a Remote Hospice Triage RN to join our mission-driven team. You will provide critical after-hours telephone triage support, acting as an extension of our clients' hospice care teams to assess patient conditions and coordinate timely care.
What You'll Do
- Provide professional telephone triage for hospice patients and their families
- Assess patient conditions to determine appropriate clinical next steps
- Collaborate with on-call hospice teams to coordinate care and resources
- Accurately document all communications and clinical interventions
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while handling urgent calls
What We're Looking For
- Active multi-state Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Comfort with technology and using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for documentation
- Ability to type notes and document calls efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to handle stress and multitask, managing a minimum of 5 calls per hour on weekdays and up to 8 per hour on weekends
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Consistent attendance, active communication, and reliable internet connectivity during all scheduled shifts
Nice to Have
- Experience in hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care is strongly preferred

You will serve as an extension of our clients' hospice care teams, providing vital support during after-hours shifts.
Benefits & Compensation
- Base pay of $25 per hour with multiple opportunities for increase
- Potential to earn up to $28 per hour within the first 6 months
- $1 shift differential for overnight hours
- $1 shift differential for weekend hours (Friday evening, Saturday & Sunday)
- PTO accumulation for part-time and full-time nurses based on hours worked
- Eligibility to participate in a 401(k) plan
- Full-time nurses may participate in medical, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance plans
Work Mode
This is a fully remote position. The schedule is full-time, 10:30 PM to 5:00 AM CST with rotating weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM CST.
