World Business Lenders, LLC is hiring a Remote Finance Manager to lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring timely financial reporting and analysis. You will partner with financial leadership to establish standards, evaluate performance, and implement controls and policies.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage accounting department staff to ensure month-end closing within 10 business days in accordance with US GAAP standards.
- Oversee variance analysis, financial reporting, and performance insights for presentation to the Management Team.
- Analyze cost categories and enhance the general ledger structure to improve reporting quality and analytical depth.
- Manage consolidated financial reporting, including intercompany transactions and eliminations.
- Partner with the Financial Controller and CFO to establish and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and reporting standards.
- Assess and evaluate the financial performance of the organization regarding goals, budgets and forecasts.
- Lead Tax team for tax filing and managing tax advisor relationship.
- Develop and implement all applicable accounting policies, procedures, processes and internal controls.
- Apply strong understanding of accrual accounting, deferred costs, and relevant guidance (FAS 91, FASB 65, FASB 17).
- Serve as a key user for automatization project from the FI side.
- Monitor daily operational activity to ensure accurate and complete data flow into the accounting system.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and auditing, with a proven track record in financial management and supervision.
- Extensive experience in both audit finance and accounting functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skills.
- Fluency in English (both verbal and written) is a must, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
- Exceptional attention to detail with time-management skills.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new industry trends and technologies.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree preferred.
- 1099 and K1 knowledge is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, and Python is preferred but not mandatory.
- Microsoft Teams and other online tracking and task follow up platforms’ knowledge is advantageous.
