Work as a key clinical support for independent nurses delivering patient care in the field. In this fully remote role, you'll provide real-time phone guidance during patient visits, helping resolve issues related to medication administration, equipment use, documentation, and pharmacy coordination. Your expertise ensures clinical accuracy and adherence to therapy standards while supporting nurses in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver immediate clinical support via phone to field nurses during active patient visits
- Assist with troubleshooting medication handling, infusion equipment, and pharmacy communication
- Review patient charts and complete required Plan of Treatment documentation
- Identify recurring challenges and escalate patterns to internal teams for process improvement
- Collaborate with clinical and operations staff to maintain consistent support protocols
- Support clinical education initiatives and help maintain pharmacy resource materials
- Ensure compliance with clinical workflows and specialty pharmacy requirements
Qualifications
Candidates must hold an active, unencumbered LPN or LVN license and bring at least three years of hands-on nursing experience. Strong communication skills are essential—your ability to remain calm, clear, and empathetic under pressure is critical when supporting nurses and coordinating with pharmacy teams. You should be comfortable in fast-moving, technology-driven environments and skilled at interpreting complex clinical information.
Experience with infusion therapies, venous access devices, and specialty pharmacy operations is required. IV Therapy certification is preferred. Background in home health, infusion services, or lab draw coordination is a strong plus.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position open to candidates within the U.S. The standard schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST, with flexibility expected to cover team time off. Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $60,000 annually, with an equity options grant.
