About the Role

ModSquad is looking for a Remote Customer Support Representative for a seasonal, 20-hour per week role supporting a major higher education client. You will provide inbound call and email support, representing the campus culture while helping students, parents, and faculty resolve their issues.

What You'll Do

  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer support through inbound calls and emails.
  • Help students, parents, and faculty get the support they need.
  • Handle basic troubleshooting with ease.
  • Bring the energy and identity of a school to life in every interaction.
  • Juggle multiple apps while maintaining attention to detail.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven customer support experience and a passion for service.
  • Tech-savvy problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-focused multitasking ability.
  • Dedicated computer (Windows 10 or newer).
  • 16 GB RAM minimum.
  • Wired internet connection (Ethernet) with at least 50 Mbps download speed.
  • Willing to install ModSquad’s security software and 2FA app.
  • Willing to install client admin tools.
  • Access to a webcam or smartphone for photo verification.
  • Ability to commit to 20 hours per week minimum, with 8 of those hours self-scheduled on Friday and/or Saturday.
  • Ability to commit to a 60-day seasonal period.

Nice to Have

  • Zendesk experience.
  • Dual monitors for peak productivity.
  • Enthusiasm for campus culture.

This is a fully remote position.
