AnewHealth is hiring a Remote Certified Pharmacy Technician (CARE) to join our Patient Care Center of Excellence. In this closed-door pharmacy environment, you will be a key contact for a nationwide patient base, focusing on phone-based care to process prescriptions, manage authorizations, and resolve patient care issues.

What You'll Do

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience daily in a phone-based environment.
• Enter a high volume of data and process prescription information with speed and accuracy.
• Utilize drug knowledge to receive prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Perform claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks.
• Work through case queues to solve patient care issues, making outbound calls to patients as needed.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical pharmacists, doctors, and other medical professionals.
• Partner with technicians and pharmacists to successfully onboard new patients.
• Maintain patient records with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Accurately retrieve prescription information and verify details through doctor calls.
• Place welcome calls to newly onboarded patients and establish a trusted point of contact.
• Place outbound calls to create, maintain, or update patient medication profiles.
• Serve as backup support during periods of higher patient call volume.
• Effectively assist patients with questions over the phone.
• Perform in a high-volume, fast-paced environment supporting patients nationwide.

What We're Looking For

• Must be 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in a pharmacy setting.
• Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Health Association (NHA) and maintain a current certificate.
• Must maintain a pharmacy technician registration with your State Board of Pharmacy.
• Ability to perform in an office-based or remote setting that requires sitting at a desk 90% of the time.

You will be part of the Patient Care Center of Excellence, working closely with technicians and pharmacists in a closed-door pharmacy focused on patient care.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid remote position. You will work primarily from a remote location.
