Fullmind is hiring a Remote ASL Interpreter with a valid Georgia Educational Interpreter License. In this role, you will provide live-streamed virtual instruction and interpretation for high school students, guiding them toward successful course completion throughout the school year.
What You'll Do
- Interpret accurately in both directions: spoken language into sign language and vice versa.
- Convey information effectively using strong listening and communication skills.
- Interpret in various classroom settings, including higher-level classes.
- Assist students in core subjects such as reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Work with children, particularly those with hearing impairments, applying interpersonal skills, emotional maturity, and patience.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's Degree.
- A valid Georgia Educational Interpreter License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (mandated by Rule 505-2-43).
- Access to a laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet.
- Willingness to participate in a virtual skills demonstration.
- Agreement to submit a background check as part of the application process.
Nice to Have
- A passing EIPA score.
- Other state licensure or an individual moving towards licensure.
- Prior online interpreting experience.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation of $270-$275 daily. Rates are negotiable and subject to change.
