A residential design practice based in the Bay Area is looking for a remote Design Support Specialist proficient in SoftPlan. This position plays a key role in developing high-quality architectural deliverables for homes across the United States, working directly within SoftPlan to produce accurate and compliant design documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Use SoftPlan to develop and refine floor plans, exterior elevations, cross-sections, and 3D representations of residential structures.
- Produce complete construction drawings and printable plan sets directly from the model, ensuring real-time updates and consistency.
- Work closely with the client to align designs with project goals, timelines, and technical standards.
- Follow provided guidelines to deliver polished results with limited supervision, maintaining a high standard of accuracy and detail.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated professional experience using SoftPlan in an architectural or design role.
- Familiarity with U.S. residential construction practices and documentation requirements.
- Ability to manage tasks independently while meeting deadlines and quality benchmarks.
Work Environment
This is a fully remote position with no location restrictions. The ideal candidate is self-directed, technically reliable, and capable of contributing effectively from a remote workspace.
