Saint Luke's Health System, a faith-based, nonprofit, and locally owned health system in Kansas City, is looking for a Reimbursement Coordinator. This remote position requires you to be located in the Kansas City area. You will play a key role in verifying insurance details, creating cost estimates, and collecting payments, ensuring a smooth financial process for patients.
What You'll Do
- Verify payor type, eligibility, and insurance benefits
- Estimate completion and money collection over the phone
- Ensure payor precertification has been obtained, communicate to all appropriate parties, and place on the account for billing purposes
- Interact with patients, payors, schedulers, and physicians’ offices
What We're Looking For
- Less than 1 year of applicable experience
- Strong insurance benefit background
- Experience creating estimates based upon benefits
- Point of service collections experience
- Authorization experience
- Superb customer service skills
