About the Role
This role involves providing medical nutrition therapy and wellness guidance to clients through virtual consultations, using a personalized approach to support long-term health improvements.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one nutrition counseling via secure video platforms
- Develop individualized meal plans based on health conditions and goals
- Review client lab results and health histories to inform recommendations
- Collaborate with care teams to support integrated health management
- Document client progress and update care plans regularly
- Educate clients on dietary modifications for chronic conditions
- Respond to client inquiries within established service timelines
- Stay current with clinical nutrition research and guidelines
- Support program development for diabetes, weight management, and heart health
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and professional ethics standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct follow-up sessions to track client adherence and outcomes
- Use digital tools to monitor client engagement and progress
- Provide culturally sensitive nutrition advice
- Assist in refining client onboarding processes
- Engage in peer learning and professional development activities
- Support client retention through proactive communication
- Contribute feedback on platform features and usability
- Uphold professional licensure and continuing education requirements
- Promote health literacy through clear, accessible communication
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in Nutrition or related discipline
- Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Experience with digital health platforms
- Background in behavioral coaching
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques
- Prior work in virtual care settings
- Additional certifications in sports nutrition or gut health
- Experience supporting diverse populations
- Knowledge of food insecurity and community resources
- Track record of high client satisfaction

Licensure Requirement
