Responsibilities
- Provide onsite 1:1 and group ABA therapy to participants with intellectual and developmental disabilities through evidence based and data driven methodologies that include trauma informed care and positive behavior supports
- Implement behavioral support strategies specified in the Behavior Plan and model interventions for caregivers
- Assist with crisis de-escalation and provide in-person or remote crisis support as needed
- Complete daily session notes on the provision and effectiveness of the behavior plan and strategies
- Participate in team meetings and provide frequent collaboration with the participant’s care team
- Collect daily data on progress and work collaboratively to ensure effective behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and skill generalization
- Employees must cooperate with any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
- Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Successfully complete a 40-hour behavioral technician training
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Knowledge of Positive Behavior Supports
- Ability to implement Behavior Plans independently and confidently
- Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with participants receiving supports
- Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
- Ability to collect, interpret, and graph data
- Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand or walk for up to an hour, and bend, stoop, and crouch.

Additional Information
- Starting pay is $23-$25/ per hour based on experience
- We are currently offering a $1,000 sign on bonus after 90 days of satisfactory employment. (contact hiring manager for additional information)
