Responsibilities
- Architect and implement secure, high-availability banking services
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define financial product requirements
- Own end-to-end development of critical backend systems
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, and system observability
- Work closely with compliance and risk teams to meet regulatory standards
- Optimize system performance and reduce operational latency
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical strategy
- Design APIs for internal and external financial integrations
- Evaluate and adopt technologies that improve system resilience
- Lead incident response and post-mortem analysis for production issues
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial transactions
- Participate in system capacity planning and scalability reviews
- Support audit processes and financial reporting requirements
- Integrate with third-party banking and payment networks
- Develop monitoring tools to detect anomalies in transaction flows
- Improve deployment reliability through automation and CI/CD pipelines
- Define and enforce security protocols for sensitive financial data
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Evaluate trade-offs between speed, reliability, and regulatory compliance
- Translate business needs into technical specifications
