AE Perkins is hiring a Regional Vice President of Sales to own and grow the Midwest (MN) territory. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing regional strategies to drive the sale of Ameriflex products and services through strategic planning, broker network development, and direct client engagement.
What You'll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned territory, including annual business plans with revenue and product goals.
- Identify prospective client sources and develop growth strategies using direct contact, seminars, and presentations.
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.
- Deliver customized presentations and position new services and marketing ideas to assigned brokers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients to proactively identify opportunities.
- Represent the company at national broker conferences, marketing meetings, and other industry events.
- Meet or exceed annual sales objectives, continuously monitoring progress and adjusting strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and account interactions using Salesforce.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and regular CRO conference calls to review territory development.
- Collaborate with the CRO and other executives to align territory strategies with the overall company sales plan.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Marketing and Revenue Operations, to support sales initiatives.
- Provide input on product development and marketing strategies based on market insights.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing regional territories and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems to manage sales activities.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales strategies.
- Experience in building long-term relationships with brokers and clients.
- Ability to adapt sales strategies based on market trends and evolving customer needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver professional presentations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with brokers, clients, and internal teams.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, particularly when traveling.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in a related industry such as insurance or employee benefits.
- Familiarity with the insurance or employee benefits industry and Ameriflex-administered plans.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and market dynamics.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and contribute to company-wide initiatives.
- Strong leadership qualities to mentor and coach other sales team members.
