What You'll Do
Lead the expansion of the retirement business across Washington, Oregon, Nevada, and California, focusing on corporate plans with $50 million or more in assets. Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow market share, deepen advisor relationships, and strengthen long-term franchise performance.
Engage retirement plan advisors through consultative conversations that uncover business goals, client needs, and competitive dynamics. Use these insights to position tailored retirement solutions that highlight differentiated value in products, service, and platform capabilities.
Design and manage an Elite Advisor Segmentation strategy to prioritize top-producing partners. Maintain consistent engagement through in-person meetings, virtual touchpoints, and live collaboration to ensure relevance and relationship depth.
Lead responses to RFPs and finalist presentations with precision—driving opportunity assessment, competitive analysis, win strategy, and executive-level storytelling. Deliver compelling presentations that articulate strategic, global, and deal-specific advantages.
Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations, implementation, marketing, and leadership to align resources and deliver seamless client experiences. Leverage Salesforce to manage pipeline, track intelligence, and ensure follow-through.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 10 years in retirement plans or financial services
- Proven track record in external sales, relationship management, ERISA consulting, or related operational areas
- Active Life Insurance license and Series 6 (or equivalent)
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time
- Deep understanding of ERISA, fiduciary standards, and retirement plan regulations
- Expertise in defined contribution, defined benefit, and non-qualified plan structures
- Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing and value-based selling

- Advanced analytical skills to interpret plan documents, SPDs, and disclosures
- Proven ability to influence advisors, consultants, plan sponsors, and internal partners
