The Regional Sales Manager, Reader IC will drive adoption of Impinj's platform among China-based RAIN RFID device OEM partners by building relationships, supporting design-in efforts, and enabling partner success. This role is based in Shenzhen and requires close collaboration with Solution Engineers and Product teams to integrate Impinj products into OEM devices for Fortune 500 enterprises.
What You'll Do
- Champion Impinj Reader IC products and raise awareness among device OEM partners across China
- Achieve quarterly and annual Reader IC revenue and market share goals in the region
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of reader chip design wins at device OEM partners
- Provide hands-on support to device OEMs in productizing and promoting RAIN RFID reader solutions
- Negotiate and execute financial agreements and value-based pricing strategies
- Lead early access engagements for new product introductions with strategic partners
- Maintain deep knowledge of device OEM partner products and collaborate with the Enterprise Sales team to match them with high-impact end-user deployments
- Partner with Product Management to identify emerging markets and new device OEM opportunities
- Deliver training on new product features, capabilities, and best practices
- Conduct quarterly business reviews with key device OEM partners
- Represent Impinj at industry events and partner sites to promote our platform and solutions
- Maintain full accountability for near- and long-term revenue forecasting, using tools such as Salesforce.com to manage pipeline, opportunities, and account health
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in sales or business development, supporting RF product design-in efforts in the IoT space, or Integrated Circuit sales in embedded or consumer electronic systems
- Strong understanding of embedded and sensor-based wireless technologies and standards
- Experience with Integrated Circuit design into OEM devices or systems and strong understanding of design in complexities and challenges
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills in both Mandarin and English
- Proven ability to solve complex technical and business challenges
- Prior experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms

Compensation: ¥450,000 - ¥550,000 per year (China base pay range), eligible for stock awards based on individual performance, and eligible for annual bonus, merit increases, and sales incentives depending on role and plan terms.
Work Mode
Based in Shenzhen, China. Approximately 20% travel required; support for remote work or onsite presence.
