About the Role

Baxter Healthcare Corporation is hiring a Regional Sales Manager, Pharmacy to represent Baxter and drive sales growth in the Western Region. This role builds trust with healthcare professionals, controls regional sales activities, and supports sales specialists to achieve business objectives.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, direct, and control sales activities by translating strategic plans into sales strategies to achieve volume, product mix, and profit goals.
  • Define an overall strategy to drive sales growth in the region.
  • Support Pharmacy Sales Specialists with prospective customers, sales presentations, technical product information, demonstrations, and pricing.
  • Interact effectively with C-suite and decision makers at internal and external partners to build key relationships.
  • Drive the implementation of team strategies to complete regionally focused objectives.
  • Prepare annual regional forecasts and participate in determining market potential and sales expense estimates.
  • Plan and manage the region's sales and development efforts including contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, and administrative requirements.
  • Confer with leadership and marketing personnel on marketing policy, product line revisions, and pricing changes.
  • Partner with sales support, the IDN team, marketing, and R&D on sales promotions, training, market research, and special projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7+ years of healthcare sales experience, with pharmacy industry and/or hospital sales required.
  • 3+ years of successfully leading sales teams.
  • Proven ability to effectively interact and build strong relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients.
  • Proven track record analyzing and interpreting data for effective sales strategies with good time management.
  • Ability to understand and adapt to changing customer needs.
  • Proficiency in comprehending business operations and sales methodologies, with adept decision-making skills.
  • At least 50% travel by ground or air, which may involve visits to remote or urban areas.
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.
