Your Opportunity as Regional Sales Manager-East Region (Sweet Baked Snacks) In this role, you'll be the Sales Account Manager for strategic East Region Grocery Accounts. Your mission? Manage sales goal delivery with our broker partner, drive customer Joint Business Plans, and own every aspect of the sales process for assigned accounts. Bottom line: you'll be responsible for top-line sales, trade spending budget balance, market share goals, and net profit targets. Location: Candidates must reside within the East US Region (within 1 hour of a major airport). Bonus points if you're within 1 hour of Orrville, OH. Work Arrangements: Home office with up to 50% travel expected. You'll be leading a strategic business unit focused on driving profitable sales growth and brand share for Smucker and our customers. Business Management • Develop and implement plans to supercharge brand/category growth and smash sales/profit goals • Manage business development and build killer relationships with sales broker team • Keep a pulse on sales execution, adjusting strategies as needed • Lead and influence negotiations for new items and key initiatives • Drive brand share growth in market and with customers • Build collaborative relationships across all internal teams • Partner with Supply Chain to create customer solutions Business Planning & Analysis • Own creation and execution of company and customer Joint Business Plans • Perform deep-dive analysis of sales and profit components • Leverage syndicated and other data sources to inform strategic and tactical plans • Manage internal sales systems (promotions, deductions, forecasts) • Manage trade budget and hit distribution, shelving, merchandising, and pricing objectives • Conduct ad-hoc financial and data analysis, including pre/post event reviews • Drive business process improvements by collaborating across functions The Right Place for You We are bold, kind, strive to do the right thing, play to win, and believe in a community that thrives together.
