Crown Paints is hiring a Regional Sales Manager

About the Role

Lead sales strategy and team performance across Scotland and Northern England by shaping and delivering initiatives that grow revenue and deepen customer engagement in the trade and coatings market. You'll oversee a team of 10 sales professionals, guiding them through mentorship, performance tracking, and development to consistently exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement sales plans that respond to market dynamics and drive measurable growth
  • Strengthen partnerships with independent merchants, decorating centres, and wholesale partners to enhance customer retention and loyalty
  • Identify new market opportunities and convert prospects into long-term accounts
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical, and operations teams to deliver integrated customer solutions
  • Monitor sales data to assess performance, refine tactics, and report on outcomes
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts while balancing profitability and market positioning
  • Stay informed on industry developments and competitive activity to maintain a strategic edge

What You Bring

  • Proven success in B2B sales leadership, ideally within trade, construction, or specialty chemicals
  • Experience managing and developing regional sales teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital sales platforms
  • Preference for candidates with background in paint, coatings, or related industries
