CBRE Data Center Solutions is hiring a Regional Manager to lead overall data center activities for the Netherlands and Belgium. You will oversee a regional team within the Operations Management function, executing strategic objectives to drive business growth and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Provide formal supervision, including training, development, performance evaluations, coaching, and recruitment.
- Manage daily team activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff, and set department deadlines.
- Implement strategic objectives in your assigned area to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to ensure alignment of goals.
- Ensure high-quality customer service is provided to clients and address any issues promptly.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis, staying current with industry trends.
- Hold regular meetings with senior management and clients to understand needs and provide updates.
- Develop and submit short and long-term plans and strategies, utilizing marketing programs to reach targets.
- Identify and address challenges, tracking and reporting on key performance metrics and ROI.
- Lead by example, modeling behaviors consistent with company values.
- Identify and solve complex technical and operational problems.
- Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within the job discipline.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant experience in a similar role within Data Centers, Critical Infrastructure, or Facility Management.
- Both commercial and technical understanding of critical managed services.
- Leadership skills to motivate a team to achieve broad operational targets.
- Connector mentality with ability to deal with site staff, suppliers, and customers.
- A KPI-driven attitude with experience in high-pressure environments.
- A Bachelor's degree.
- Ability to lead sensitive, complicated, and difficult conversations, convey performance expectations, and handle problems.
- Reliable communicator with persuasiveness towards stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Outstanding presentation skills and in-depth knowledge of modern IT tools.
- Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Strong customer focus and ability to foster team spirit.
- A structured working style with strong organizational and methodological strengths.
- A high level of achievement motivation.
