The Nuclear Company is hiring a Recruiter, Technical

Shape the future of nuclear energy through strategic talent acquisition. As a Technical Recruiter, you’ll play a central role in building teams that power one of the most critical industries of our time. You’ll partner closely with engineering and product leaders to define hiring priorities, refine role requirements, and identify talent capable of thriving in a technically rigorous, safety-first environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for complex technical roles across software, IT, cybersecurity, UX, and product functions.
  • Conduct in-depth intake discussions to uncover not just skills, but the underlying competencies needed for success in high-consequence settings.
  • Design and execute sourcing strategies to engage passive candidates in niche technical communities.
  • Deliver data-backed insights on talent markets, compensation trends, and hiring efficiency to inform leadership decisions.
  • Ensure a seamless, respectful candidate journey—from first contact to offer acceptance—reinforcing our mission at every touchpoint.
  • Develop structured, values-based interview processes that balance speed with the precision required in regulated environments.
  • Optimize ATS workflows (including Greenhouse and UKG) to maintain accurate pipelines and enable real-time decision-making.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion by embedding equitable practices into every stage of hiring.
  • Drive continuous improvement by refining job descriptions, assessment methods, and evaluation rubrics during high-volume hiring cycles.
  • Integrate core values—Transparency, Responsibility, Unity, Scrappy, and Tenacity—into candidate evaluation and team feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, with at least 2 years in a fast-paced startup or hard tech sector such as Energy, Aerospace, Fintech, or Robotics.
  • Proven ability to discuss technical concepts like software architecture, DevOps practices, and code quality with confidence and clarity.
  • A consultative mindset—you don’t just fill roles, you advise on hiring strategy and challenge assumptions with data.
  • Resilience and adaptability—comfort operating in ambiguity and shifting priorities without losing momentum.
  • A genuine commitment to clean energy and an understanding of the responsibility inherent in the nuclear industry.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, UKG, and LinkedIn Recruiter.

Our Commitment to You

  • Competitive salary range of $151,000–$176,000 annually
  • 401k with company match
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous paid time off and holiday schedule

Our Culture

We operate with transparency, take ownership of our work, and move with urgency. We value unity across teams, resourcefulness in problem-solving, and tenacity in overcoming obstacles. This role demands both precision and adaptability—qualities we celebrate in every team member.
