Edelman Financial Engines Careers is hiring a Recordkeeping Administrator to join our Retirement Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily recordkeeping, reconciliation, and data management of qualified retirement plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for our clients.
What You'll Do
- Handle day-to-day Retirement Plan recordkeeping administration.
- Maintain and reconcile plan data using FIS Relius Administration software.
- Process and review contribution files, participant transactions, loans, and distributions.
- Communicate directly with participants, plan sponsors, financial advisors, and payroll providers.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all plan transactions and reporting.
- Collaborate with other administrators and team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Interpret Plan documents, Compliance Testing Results, and 5500s.
- Complete Plan Corrections.
- Stay current on IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations affecting qualified retirement plans.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Retirement Plan Recordkeeping/401(k) plan administration.
- Proficiency with FIS Relius Administration.
- Working knowledge of ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations governing qualified plans.
- Strong Excel and data management skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines with attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- ASPPA or NIPA credentials (QKA, QKC, etc.) are a plus but not required.

You will join the Retirement Services team and report to the Senior Director of Retirement Services.
