As an R&D intern in Zaragoza, you’ll contribute to advancing the mechanical performance of dry-type transformers within a globally connected research team. Working alongside experienced engineers, you’ll take part in standardization initiatives that span international manufacturing sites, analyzing existing designs and production methods to identify opportunities for improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support standardization projects aimed at aligning practices across global production facilities
- Examine current transformer designs and manufacturing workflows to assess efficiency and performance
- Develop and propose innovative solutions to boost productivity through emerging technologies
- Assist R&D team members with organizing technical materials and maintaining documentation systems
- Uphold core principles of safety, integrity, and accountability in all project work
Requirements
- Currently in the final stages of a Mechanical Engineering degree or recently graduated
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Capable of forming sound technical assessments within mechanical design contexts
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on problem-solving and clear communication
- Fluent in both spoken and written Spanish and English
- Demonstrated initiative, creativity, and precision in academic or professional work
- Approach challenges with a solution-driven mindset and a commitment to teamwork
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D modeling software
- Familiarity with digital document management platforms
