What You'll Do
Deliver essential radiology services at a Role 2 Medical Treatment Facility in Lal-Lo, Philippines, during a defined operational period. Operate mobile and portable X-ray equipment to support routine, emergency, trauma, and acute care cases in a remote, resource-constrained setting.
Independently produce diagnostic-grade images, adjusting technical parameters such as exposure and distance to meet clinical needs. Apply advanced problem-solving to maintain equipment functionality and ensure reliable transmission of imaging data, even under low-bandwidth conditions.
Use adaptive patient positioning methods, particularly for complex trauma scenarios, to achieve optimal imaging results. Review images for diagnostic quality and ensure all studies meet clinical standards before transmission or handover.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records, whether documented electronically or on paper, and ensure all entries are finalized prior to shift changes. Protect sensitive health information in compliance with the Privacy Act of 1974, HIPAA, and contractual data handling policies.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, fire prevention, waste management, and security protocols. Report for duty on a 24-hour rotational schedule, including emergencies, adverse weather, and recall situations, ensuring uninterrupted medical support.
