Baptist Health is looking for a Radiology Technician Student to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Technologist to perform duties involving a variety of technical procedures that apply ionizing radiation for detecting pathology. Your primary focus will be producing quality diagnostic images and providing anatomically correct views for the Radiologist.

What You'll Do

Perform duties involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for detecting pathology.
Produce quality, diagnostic images and provide anatomically correct views for the Radiologist.
Practice radiation safety and utilize departmental safety procedures.

What We're Looking For

High school graduate or equivalent.
Must be a student currently enrolled in a School of Radiologic Technology.
BLS certification required.
Must possess decision-making skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain a professional and customer-centric composure in difficult or challenging situations.
Ability to work from broad directions and be self-motivated.
Strong interpersonal skills.
The ability to communicate effectively with patients, guests, and hospital personnel.
