Mass General Brigham, through The McLean Hospital Corporation, is hiring a Radiology Tech Aide. You will assist radiology technologists and radiologists, ensuring equipment functions properly and providing a safe, comfortable environment for patients during imaging procedures.
What You'll Do
- Greet and prepare patients for radiology procedures, explaining the imaging process and answering questions.
- Prepare and arrange radiology equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI machines, and ultrasound devices.
- Help position patients correctly on the imaging table or in appropriate positions to obtain clear, accurate images.
- Assist radiology technologists with image processing tasks, such as labeling digital images and transferring them to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Assist in transporting patients to and from the radiology department, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Keep track of supplies, including contrast agents, gowns, and other necessary items.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Nice to Have
- 0-1 year of experience in a hospital or managed care setting
- 0-1 year of radiology experience
